it's been more than a month since I've posted here. Where has time gone? Well, it hasn't really gone to cleaning up the mess. I guess that can be the running gag - at least for a while. I'm not working as much this week and the kids are back in school and it is bothering me and I can't find a chandelier stamp I know I have, and the dearest husband is starting to make more noise, and the children probably wouldn't know what to do if we actually had dinner at the dining room table, and I think I have a new table cloth my mom sent me maybe in March that I've never used, and there are presents for my mom hiding in the mess that I really want to get sent, and ... and well, basically, it is just time to get motivated and get it over with. It shouldn't be intimidating; it's just paper, and some stamps, and some inkpads, and markers, and pencils, and ribbon, and flowers, and buttons, and stickers, and unfinished projects... OK, it is overwhelming.
My class samples are just about finished. So I can't use that as an excuse any longer. I have six classes at Buffalo Stamps and Stuff in September and October. I'm really excited about my QuicKutz class. I have a layout using the camping dies and some great pictures of my husband from when he was six. His mom has been great about sharing photos and I have bunches I can work my way through.
More importantly, I want to thank my faithful readers who keep checking in to see if I'm still here.
Keep watching, I think it's time to reward the faithful with blog candy. I'll pull some goodies out of the mess and reward three comments on the blog. Since I've only ever had one or two people total ever comment, I'd say your chances are pretty good if you come out of lurkdom and give a shout.

Hi Marty! I know what you mean about needing to get motivated to clean up your stamp space! I have the same problem.... just seem to keep accumulating product that I don't have the space for!! I'll keep watching your blog to see how you make out... good luck!!!
Actually, I find organizing very therapeutic. It soothes me just to look through all my embellishments and paper and study all the design and color. Instead of looking at the whole task, just start with part. "Today, I'm just going to organize my wood stamps." Try it. Really.
Yesterday inspired me to actually read all of our blogs. I can't believe I'm #3 - not my intention at all to get free stuff, just to say hi! I haven't blogged for almost as long as you too. On my to-do list for today. Had a great day yesterday. We work for the nicest, most thoughtful boss on the planet, and fun too! See you soon, Donna
Haha- funny that Donna and I had the same idea- I've been checking out eveyone's blogs today, too! I think I will take a pic of some of the fun stuff I got yesterday and share it on the blog. Hmmm.... maybe I will tackle my kitchen table, too. I'm not as brave as you, though. I will post before and after pics *after* the mess has been cleaned-lol!
Hi Marty. You just crack me up with your comments. Call me and I will show you my craft room and that will help motivate you. I'll keep watching to see if you get anywhere. Roxanne
It seems that I'm in that mood right now! Lots of excuses!!! I really need something to motivate me ... I heard something about cleaning my stamp space! Oh, no! I'll put that for tomorrows!!!
Oh yeah, finally a post! I think we should have a "clean up Marty's dinner table" party, LOL!
